AN INTERNATIONAL REGISTRY FOR MEN WITH PROSTATE CANCER
WHAT IS TNGR?
The TrueNTH Global Registry (TNGR) is an international registry for men with localized and locally advanced prostate cancer. Men from 13 countries proudly participate, with more locations to come.
WHY IS TNGR NEEDED?
Depending on where a man lives, his race, and other factors, there can be big gaps in prostate cancer care and outcomes. TNGR was created to tackle this problem and better understand why these differences exist.
Gathering this information in a large-scale registry allows us to: • identify population-wide trends in diagnosis and treatment practices • understand what effect different treatments are having on quality of life • track survival rates among men globally
Through TNGR, men, doctors and researchers all work together to improve prostate cancer care and quality of life around the globe.
HOW DOES TNGR WORK?
Improving the lives of men with prostate cancer is TNGR’s core goal. That’s why we’re gathering information from thousands of men about their daily lives and challenges — to try and positively impact these areas.
We measure what matters to men
To capture men’s experiences now and over time, we use questionnaires called Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs).
The TNGR questionnaire asks men about:
- Urinary, bowel and sexual health
- Pain and fatigue (feeling extremely tired)
- Sleep, anxiety and depression
- Brain function and memory decline
With each questionnaire response, we’re aiming to help more men get back to doing the things they love, with the people they care about most.
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE?
To take part in the registry as a patient, you must be receiving treatment from one of our 200+ global participating sites. These sites are hospitals or institutions that care for men with prostate cancer.
WHERE ARE WE TODAY?
With the global reach of TNGR, we have over 200 participating sites in 13 countries. Each site works with men to provide valuable input to the registry and improve prostate cancer care and quality of life. We look forward to expanding our footprint and serving more men as we grow.
OVER 92,000 STRONG
Currently, over 92,000 men participate in TNGR. With their help, we’ve collected over 58,000 questionnaires (or PROMs), that highlight what it’s really like to have prostate cancer.
